Keystick Keyboard Looks More Like A Folding Stick

With so many computer peripherals coming out everyday, it is really hard to find the one that is perfect in every sense, and same is the case with computer keyboards as well. Most of the portable keyboards that are out in the market either lack the presence of the traditional keys or they do not provide a folding option, but size does matter along with other features. The Keystick keyboard designed by Yoonsang Kim and Eunsung Park is a whole new concept in this era of cutting edge technology.

Image

The Keystick keyboard is a fully functional QWERTY device like any other traditional keyboard but with an outstanding feature of folding up like a Japanese fan or an accordion…similar in concept to the Rolltop Laptop. This indeed is a great concept of folding your keyboard to become a stick, which is easily transportable. Moreover, this folding keyboard is also a part of None Bacteria Project, which works to cut down the spread of infections. So, theres hardly any chance of getting contaminated even if you share it.

Looking similar to Apples Bluetooth Wireless keyboard, the Keystick keyboard is still in the concept phase, but it seems that this foldable keyboard is a wireless one that connects itself with any PC using an USB receiver. However, we can expect it to pass on to the manufacturing phase soon, as once out the Keystick foldable keyboard is surely to grab the entire computer market.

Gun on Wheels

Let me just stop you right there. This thing is called the “Robotic Weapon”, but don’t be fooled! All this is really is a teleoperated MIl-Sim non-lethal paintball gun mounted on a 4-wheel-drive E-Maxx RC vehicle. Does that sound like anything you know? I remember a television show about these sorts of things I think. This lovely war machine’s alternate names are: “Kill Bot,” “Mega Hurtz,” “The Wireless Weapon,” and “SWAT BOT.”

It’s an all-aluminum lipo powered unmanned ground machine designed specifically for law enforcement. But I’ll tell ye what, I would LOVE to mount a spray can on top of there, or fill the paintball ammo with a rainbow assortment.

Capable of speeds around 50mph, controlled by remote with barrel cam vision. Night vision, fully controlled by one person per car.

Scary!

Beetle B Kind And Cute

Mr. B is the newest way for doing dishes. It uses supersonic technology, helps conserve water and eliminates contamination of water via detergents. Its design has been inspired by a prehistoric creature (wanna guess which?), and has a nanotechnology coating for self-cleaning and keeping Bacteria at bay. The soft rubber brush is safe on all surfaces and the ergonomically shape gives a good grip. It comes with a wireless charging cradle, and the LED eyes reflect the battery life and status.

Airport Sleep Pods

Have you ever slept at the airport? I sure haven’t. The very idea scares the pee out of me. Some people do, though, and those people are crazy. For those of us who want the convenience of sleeping at the airport, without so much of the crazy, there’s these amazing things right here! “Sleep Box” they go by the name of, designed by Arch Group for those who need private time in strange, unfriendly places!

There’s a thousand instances where the ideal personal cubical could come in handy. Here’s one of them: the airport. In between flights, what do you do? Sit in some marginally comfortable seats. Lots of time in between flights, what do you do? Sleep box.

The box itself is 2mx1.4mx2.3m. The main bed is 2×0.6m, equipped with an automatic system which changes the linens (think Fifth Element.) The bed is a soft, flexible strip of polymer and pulp tissue.

Ventilation system, sound alerts, built-in LCD television, wireless internet access, power sockets, extra luggage space under lounges. Payment is made in time, anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours.

The rest I leave up to your imagination!

Wireless Road T s Keep Highway Vehicles Linked Together

What if you could drive onto the highway, take your hands off the wheel, and sit back and read a book? That might not be as far-fetched as you might think if an EU-financed research project is successful. The project, dubbed SARTRE (Safe Road Trains for the Environment) wants to link vehicles together in eight-car “road trains” led by a professional driver. The project, which is aimed at commuters traveling long distances, could drastically cut travel time, congestion, and fuel consumption.
