Asus Unveils Waveface Ultra Flexible OLED Smartphone Bracelet

Smartphones have gotten progressively smaller, sleeker and more powerful in the past few years, but most of them don’t address one annoying problem – you have to hold them. Oh bother. If you’re looking for something with a little more superhero panache, check out what Asus just unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show – the insanely futuristic Waveface Ultra. It’s a superthin, flexible OLED wristband cell phone that you can snap onto your wrist, sort of like those outlawed slap bracelets from the 90s (remember those?). And the kicker? You can control it by magically gesturingyour fingers – touchscreen is so very 2009.

Trash Knows Best

Called the Trash Know, this dustbin is as elegant as practical. It features a unique way for incorporating the disposable liners into its form. Right at the bottom of the bin is this roll-dispenser holding the liners. You pull out one to line the bin with. After the trash has filled up, you simply tie a knot on the top and tear away the liner and pull up the next one. Think about a toilet roll, thats the principle used here too! I simply love the demo video for it!

SpongeBob Motorcycle Helmet Released in Celebration of SpongeBob SquarePant’s 10th Anniversary

SpongeBob SquarePants may reside under the sea in Bikini Bottom but the fame of this seemingly innocent sea creature has spread far and wide above the waters into the non-animated lives of humans. Whoever would have thought that a sea sponge could have such an interesting life, not to mention live in a pineapple?! SpongeBob and his friends are currently celebrating their 10th anniversary on television and though most of the anniversary related goods were targeted at kids, this cool Motorcycle Helmet will certainly interest all childlike adults.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Helmet’s comical face splattered smack on the back of the Pavillon helmet made with a carbon fibre shell and lined with nappa lambskin. Just be warned that no matter how cool you think this is, not everyone can carry off a SpongeBob SquarePants helmet (unless you have as much style as Marc Jacobs who already sports a SpongeBob tattoo on his arm!). Perhaps that is why only 200 units of this Ruby Pavillon would be available and that even only in Europe and US.

Eat your heart out, SpongeBob fans, this $1,200 helmet is not for just any admirer of the Nickelodeon cartoon. This SpongeBob SquarePants Helmet is only for the hardcore I-cant-live-without-SpongeBob fans! Just hang on a while and maybe if you’re lucky and have been a very good kid (read adult) then next year they’ll come out with Patrick or Squidward gear.

If you are interested in toughter looking helmets, check out the Boba Fett Helmet, Iron Man Motorcycle Helmet or even the Spiderman Helmets.
