All Up In A Cell
Concept cars is what everybody needs in the future. You bet. This right here is a futuristic vision of the Audi cell car set up on independent axles and center turning drive shafts. All of the insides hidden in a fabulously eye-meltingly nice carbon body. Transport you and you loved ones around in style and safety. It’s a must.
You think Audi’d market this fabulous auto?
Electric motors inside the wheels, L:4220mm, W:1980mm, H:1350mm. Airflow around the wheel body work and axle engineered to create high downforce, aerodynamic shapes for a more fluent drive. Made of a combination of recyclable polymer materials and “progressive strong carbon fiver surfaces according to F1 construction.” Kamera system monitors situation around the vehicle and notifies the passengers accordingly.
And a fantastic kinetic energy recovery system.
That’s what’s up.

Welcome To The Library
For someone who stares at a monitor for most part of the day, an e-book reader is not such a novelty. No matter how convenient it may be, but at the end of the day its still a screen! Can anything replace the smell of fresh, crisp paper? Alas, this is 2010 and the gadget-freaks are going to want more tech stuff, and this Library e-book Reading Device caters to their whims. It simulates actual page flipping (by rotating two mechanical rollers at the edge), features multi-touchscreen for bookmarks (no dog-ear pages!) that become visible when the book is closed.
While the Bookmarks are featured on the front page of the Library, the back hosts the index for all the loaded books. The system gets funkier with the “keyboard mode”, where it simulates a laptop, allowing you to browse though a virtual bookshelf and online stores.
From what I see, most e-books try and replicate the experience of reading traditional books. But from experience I can say, that its easier to throw a book at your lazy spouse, than an e-book; especially in a fit of rage!

Walyou Geekiest Gadgets of 2009
2009 has been a long and arduous year for most people, and with recession and political issues happening everywhere, technology and science had to take a backseat, or so it seemed. However, the year has been surprisingly busy with activity and several cool gadgets were launched. Most importantly, several new gadgets were bought which underlined the importance of consumption during recession.
Here is a cool list of gadgets that we found were the hottest during this year. These could be used an indication for what could be bought, or what could be upgraded, if you already have similar gadgets.
Mice
There has been no shortage of mice this year and some of the coolest ones were predictably released for those who play video games and those who use Apple Mac.

The Razer Mamba is an awesome wireless laser gaming mouse that is so cool that it almost looks like an haute-couture product! Its slick design and the almost futuristic look make it one of the best products announced or released this year.

Apple’s Magic Mouse is yet another accessory which can be used with computers, Apple iMac or Macbook to be particular. The mouse comes with an incredibly intuitive design and you cannot go wrong when you get yourself this slick mouse. It costs $69 and isn’t too expensive either.
Keyboards
If you always wanted a cool keyboard but have been stuck to something banal and mundane, worry not. In the year 2009, many cool keyboards were launched. Some of the best were the Illuminated Flexible keyboard and the Colorful LED Keyboard.

If you were looking for a cheap but cool keyboard, the Illuminated Flexible Keyboard is a great choice, as it not only looks good but can also be carried around everywhere.

The Colorful Luxeed U5 Dynamic LED Keyboard is something to watch out for. At $149.99, it comes with many features and of course, most importantly looks outlandish and would make the perfect gift for anyone.
Camera

If you always wanted the world’s best camera, you should take a look at the “World’s Fastest Digital Camera“. It can capture details that human eye cannot notice, and costs $1,200. It is the fastest but perhaps not the best!
A Light, a Mobile, a Hanger
It, all of those, all of those together, they’re called “Lihamo!” Get it? It’s the first two letters of all those words together! Designer Cho Hyung Suk took a single piece of material and basically perforated it to create a tri-fecta! Dissembled, this project creates a hanging mobile – also a hanger system for clothing, and a giant lamp!
The lamp itself requires a bit of effort from a separate lighting source, but then again, you can just use it as a room divider too! And, and! Two two or three bits of furniture this creates ties the room together nicely!

Being an iPod dock, the iNet 2.0 is capable of playing music and that too with comparatively a bigger set of speakers. The most attractive part of the device is its large touchscreen display of 8-inch. But this is not everything, as this device is capable of performing multiple tasks. You can connect the iNet 2.0 to the Internet using its Ethernet Port on the back or WiFi to turn it into an Internet radio. Moreover, you can even select songs of your choice by the facility of Audio-On-Demand from Rhapsody and Napster.
Furthermore, the device is equipped with additional features to act as an Alarm Clock and also as a Digital Photo Frame. The 1GB on-board memory of Sherwood iNet 2.0 can be further increased by complimentary SD cards or USB thumb drives. The Sherwood iNet 2.0 in every way can be a very useful and necessary device in our daily life, but you still have to keep it in your watch list, as theres still no news of its release date and pricing yet. Some of the equally geeky iPod docks that might interest you are the iPod Bathroom Dock and the Eye Pod Victrola iPod Dock.

Bessie Carmichael School Awarded $100,000 For LEED Certification

Minimount System Lets You Use Netbooks in Physically Demanding Situations

Most of the times when we use our laptops on the go, it becomes quite difficult to balance or even protect them from unwanted jerky movements and physical damage.
If you use your laptop or netbook in physically demanding situations such as shop floors, boats, mobile offices, or areas where there are machines, you might want to try a mount system that not only protects the netbook, but also adjusts the netbook to a particular angle and height to avoid physical exertion.

The Minimount is a Hard Shell Case and Mount System that is specifically made for netbook computers. It could be used in any busy environment and turns physically demanding situations into a wireless work place. They are rugged, lightweight and made from anodized aluminum shell. You could carry it almost everywhere you go and is pretty affordable too, at $79.
